            With a view to serve the Indian industries, Sri Manakula Vinayagar Engineering College have started this important branch of Engineering in the year, 2002-03 with an initial maximum intake of 30.

             In this Instrumentation and Control Engineering curriculum, in addition to the basic Engineering in the first year, students are trained the following specialized areas of Engineering as per the Pondicherry University syllabus.

            A separate department Instrumentation and Control Engineering is managed by qualified staff members. It has well equipped laboratories with the computer labs, latest instruments and equipment. The department has its own library to cater for the specific needs of students.
