We intend to think contrarily!
We, the robotics team of SMVEC proudly present you, your commanders and your robotic militants a platform for war.
We call it ‘THE COLISEUM’.

For civilians, think of a war which happens in most dramatic ways you could possibly ever imagine. Well we determine to give you better than that.
Come witness a WAR in the happening.

The Coliseum (Arena):
The arena in which the war is to be waged is shown here.
Dimension of the arena is 8m x 4m.
Three aspects of the arena can be taken advantageous by the participants. They are
1. Square shaped pit. Dimensions: 0.7m x 0.7m
2. Rotating disc with sharp edges. Provided at the center.0.5m diameter.
3. Spring trap, which bursts open at least three times during a match at determined intervals.
The edges of the arena are provided with inclined slopes.
The participants will be present on left and right side of the arena.
Eligibility:
Any engineering student with courage and will to challenge others’ intelligence can participate.
And 1+2=3 as so we will be requiring your genuine identity card provided by your institution.
You can also form an army consisting of 4 members maximum.
These 4 members can be from any year, any department and even from any college, only that they all should be engineering students.
Bot specifications:
Dimension – 40cm x 40cm x 40cm (length x breadth x height)
The bot should weigh no more than 10 kg
Voltage across any two points of the robot circuitry must not exceed 24 V. (to be followed strictly, if found using more than 24V, it leads to immediate elimination)
No ready-made or LEGO kits are to be used.
No loose apparatus, the bot must be rigid.
Control may be through wired connection or wireless. No extra points will be given for this characteristic.
Battle plan (game play):
Totally there will be three rounds.
ROUND I – Survival – ‘Survival of the fittest’
One on one elimination round.
ROUND II – Friend or foe – ‘Enemy of my enemy is my friend’
Tagging of participants and Tag match
ROUND III - Judgement – ‘Showdown of the Gods’
One on everyone else.
